Our Own County

We are not
traveling in for this.

Our studio is at 1051 County Line Road in Huntingdon Valley, which puts us inside Montgomery County rather than driving into it. If you want to sit down with us before you book, you can. I am all for meeting in person, and from most of the county it is a short trip rather than a whole afternoon.

Being local also means we scout. If you are getting married somewhere in the county we have not photographed before, we will go and walk it properly ahead of your date instead of turning up cold and hoping for the best.

There are nine of us: photographers, cinematographers and an album designer who have worked together for more than ten years. That is the part couples do not think to ask about until something goes wrong. If one of us wakes up ill, the person who steps in already knows how we work. They are not a stranger found on a booking site the night before.

The one venue people
ask us about: Glencairn.

A granite castle with a marble hall, stained glass and a tower, and light that behaves like a completely different building between morning and late afternoon. It is the hardest venue in the county to photograph and the most rewarding when it is done properly. We have shot there often enough to know which rooms hold their light and which ones need help, so we arrive carrying what the building needs instead of discovering the problem at four o'clock.

North Wales

Joseph Ambler Inn

Stone buildings and old trees on a working inn's grounds. It holds up beautifully in winter, which is rarer than you would think for a venue people book for the outdoors.

Audubon

John James Audubon Center

Woodland and meadow around a modern building, and one of the JAM Hospitality venues whose team refers couples to us. A favorite for anyone who wants to spend the whole day outside.

Bryn Athyn

Bryn Athyn Cathedral

Gothic stonework and very particular light. A ceremony space where knowing exactly where you are allowed to stand, and when, is most of the job.

Blue Bell

Normandy Farm

Whitewashed barns and silos with a lot of usable ground. If the forecast turns there are real options here, which is half of why couples book it.

Fort Washington

Manufacturers' Golf & Country Club

Open fairways and long sightlines, so golden hour is genuinely golden here instead of a fight with tree cover.

Merion Station

Merion Tribute House

Dark wood, leaded glass and a real sense of occasion indoors. Couples who choose it usually want photographs that will still look right in twenty years.

We also photograph at Glencairn Museum in Bryn Athyn, and we work throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Not on the list? Tell us where you are getting married. Our studio is in the county, so going to look at somewhere new costs us an hour and tells us everything.

Six hours, two photographers

Eight hours is $4,620, ten hours $5,000 and twelve hours $5,400, and cinematography costs the same as photography. No travel fee anywhere in Montgomery County. Every collection includes two photographers, a fully color-corrected gallery and personal print rights. Albums are designed in house by Leah, who does every layout herself and walks you through it before anything is printed.
